Another Halloween goes down in the books! Such a great time! It is really amazing to me how different my girls are from one another.
Julia was eager to put on her tights, costume and even her wings. She sat in my bathroom and patiently waited for me to put on her make-up, style her hair ;-) and powder her with glittering fairy dust. She quickly figured out that she should go with the flow.
Kelsey was super excited about every part of the day! I had invited a few friends and neighbors to join us which is always so exciting for Kelsey. Kelsey clearly remembered the trick or treating part and she was so anxious to head out with her friends. She actually took off with her friend and never looked back. Just amazing how much she has grown!
Zach...what can I say, he was a "ball" of...no really, he was a football! lol It was perfect. I have been sewing quite a bit lately which has been surprising to many! ;-) I couldn't let the day pass without dressing up Zach. He did great at first but then I think the crowds got the best of him and he turned into a huge crab!
The highlight of Halloween for me was breaking my toe! Yup, you read that correctly. My toe is broken and oh my it hurts! I got into an accident with Julia's shoe and my toe lost, big time! What a great story, I broke my toe kicking my kid! I was running behind her to get her snack and I just kicked her heel. I even had to make a trip to the podiatrist, I'll save that story for another post! ;-)
