Yummy! Yummy! In His Tummy!

I'm not sure who had more fun, everyone else or Zach. Finally we have started feeding this poor starving boy. NOT! He's been watching for six months now, so he was pretty much a pro at how to use a spoon. He is all about doing it by himself. He thinks that rice cereal is pretty cool, but as far as all of the other starter foods go...YUCK! Honestly, I think he is waiting for a hamburger to go along with the few random fries that have been thrown his way!

Happy New Year!

Yup, she thought I was crazy! Go outside, into the night, and bang a pan! New Years, old school style! She thought this was so silly!

Disney's Art of Animation

I'm so behind on blogging, so here it goes...Though our trip to Disney World was a huge disaster, we were able to salvage a few nights and stayed at the brand new Art of Animation. Please note...this is a "budget" resort. It is a Disney resort so you can take advantage of shuttle service...etc. Upon arriving in our room and taking a quick look at the very basic yet cleverly decorated room, Ariel's room, I called to Michael, "we are going to need some bath towels." He opened up a bath towel and reminded me that we were not staying at a Hilton, we were at a BASIC/ECONOMIC Disney property. Reality check for me. ;-) Okay, enough about towels. Our room was a bit dirty with some trash...BUT...complaining aside, the kids loved it! They loved everything about their economy room. The grounds were really great! The pools were great, though we didn't have time to take advantage of them. The resort was bright and engaging, Disney did a great job.

A few more tidbits...Little Mermaid area is the furthest from the main pool and dining. With little ones it is quite a walk. Arcade seemed small to me but my kids are too young still. For $100/night/2 dbl beds it was a steal!

This was not the main pool.
