Welcome to the USA!
Kelsey made her first trip, not only on an airplane, but also into the United States! Can you think of anything more fearful than 16 hours on a direct flight from Doha to Houston with a 4 month old? Kelsey was a champ! Hardly made a peep! She has done extremely well and has experienced very little jet lag. Does she look like a world traveler or what?! The bottom picture of Kelsey and me was taken prior to landing, after 16 hours and I am still smiling!
Just in case you were wondering what you do with a baby on a plane for 16 hours! The bulkhead seats actually have a place where a bassinet can be added. Next time you are on a plane look! So Kelsey was able to take several naps in the bassinet. In addition, we were lucky to have a pretty empty flight and so we had our whole row to ourselves. I just put a blanket down on the floor and Kelsey was able to play.
